Our Calling
At Buist Electric, we consider it part of our mission and our responsibility to share our resources with those in our community. Two of the major ways we do this are through the Buist Foundation - a ministry established and run by employees of Buist, and the Buist Community Assistance Center. Other ways we share our resources locally and worldwide are through corporate giving, volunteer projects, and various other charitable givings.
Buist Foundation
The Buist Foundation was established and is actively run by the employees of Buist Electric, and exists
to serve, from a Christian perspective, the needs of those that find themselves in a difficult position
financially. Our clients need help with house payments, rent, insurance, utilities, food, clothing, medical
bills, medicine, auto repairs and much more. This foundation is unique in its ability to provide immediate
assistance when necessary.

Buist Community Assistance Center
The Buist Community Assistance Center is an outreach to the local community. We provide
assistance in the
form of a food pantry, new and gently used clothing, furniture and household items to those in need. BCAC
is also equipped to help with minor home repairs and maintenance, financial and spiritual guidance.

The Common.Org
Buist Electric has recently become involved with TheCommon.org. This website is used as a way to better connect people who may have needs with those who have certain abilities to meet those needs . The employees at Buist can use this to help them become aware as needs arise among the community and with other employees. Curious?
