BIM (Building Information Modeling)
Simply put, BIM is a process that renders in 3-D an animated digital building model that accurately predicts building performance before ground is even broken.
The photo on the right shows how a 3-D image is applied to a 2-D set of drawings.
Though the BIM concept is relatively new, Buist has utilized this on a number of large-scale, high profile projects such as Metro Health Hospital, Helen DeVos Children's Hospital, Van Andel Institute, and Midland Hospital.
