For the third year in a row, Buist Electric is the #1 trade ally for Consumers Energy for 2011. This has resulted in saving our customers over $1,000,000 in energy cost in 2011 alone.
ABC Construction Awards
Buist Electric was awarded the 2011 ABC Award of Excellence its electrical construction of the Helen DeVos Children's Hospital. The 206-bed, 14-floor, 464,000 square foot facility’s electrical system includes 7 unit substations, 16 transfer switches, 6 vertical bussways through the patient tower, 348 panel boards, 175 miles of electrical conduit, 523 miles of power wiring, 8,700 receptacles, and over 12,500 light bulbs. The overall budget for this project was $154 million.
Engineering News Record Top 600 Specialty Contractors
ENR ranks Buist Electric in the top 600 Specialty Contractors in the country. This year, Buist was ranked 306 in the entire nation based on revenue and market data. Last year Buist was ranked 313 in the nation. Read More
